I just picked up a nice chinese SKS today at a live auction, $320 with a new bushnell 3x-9x. 32 scope on a b-west scope mount that allows 3/8" up/down travel on the front of the scope with slight finger pressure. It feels as if I could pry it completely off the gun by hand. Light primer strikes : r/SKS. Failure to Fire. Light primer strikes. Been having some failure to fire issues with my newly acquired SKS. Sometimes it fires, sometimes it doesnt. No pattern to when it does or doesn't fire. I do notice though, that when there is a failure to fire, that the internal mag moves slightly, as if something hit it.
